Frying Without Oil

-This is recommended only for meats with natural fat.

Pre-heat your cookware on a med/high temperature for at least 2 minutes.

When the cookware has reached the right temperature a drop of water on the cooking surface will scatter instead of evaporate. This is when you know that your cookware has reached the right temperature for fry. If the water evaporates wait a little more until scatter.

Reduce the heat to medium.

Add the meat you planning to fry without oil on the cookware. Partially cover the cookware. Note: if you seasoning your food before frying the seasoning will stick due to it has no natural moister or fat. We recommend you to wait until the right step.

The meat will stick. It is normal but the natural fat of the food will release in few minutes.

Wait from 3 minutes to 5 minutes it all depends the meat you are frying.

Turn to the other side to repeat the process.

By this time you will notice that the meat does not stick. Now it is appropriate to add your seasoning.

After the meat has achieved the texture you are looking for, we strongly recommend reducing the flame or heat to “Low” and complete cover the cookware. This process will work as an oven letting the juices to come out and helping your meat become tender.

Let it cook for another 5 minutes or more. It all depends in how well done you want your meat.

Once you have done let rest your food or meat for the appropriated time. Check Thermometer right cooking temperature and rest chart for more info.

Remember, when you are frying foods without natural fat it may be necessary to add a small amount of oil. Examples of such foods are eggs, some types of fish, potatoes, liver, and all types of breaded, floured, or battered foods. See next recommendations.

Frying with Oil

-This Recommendation is for eggs or some fish without natural fat.

Use the Euro Cucina cookware cover when is necessary. This will help you hold heat and moisture, get faster results when frying and avoid oil from spilling all over your kitchen or cooking area.

Pre-heat for at least 2 minutes the Euro Cucina cookware pan or pot you are planning to use to fry over a Med temperature, then carefully add sufficient oil of your choice and put the cover on.

Once your Euro Cucina cookware thermometer reads 30° Celsius reduce the heat of flame to Low/Med and add your ingredients and  place the cover back on.

Let them fry for 3 to 5 minutes each side. – Again, it all depends of the texture or crunchiness you are looking for.

If your Euro Cucina cookware thermometer reaches the right temperature or reaches 80 to 90 degrees Celsius, we strongly recommend reducing the temperature to low on your gas or electrical stove to “LOW” temperature to keep the right temperature on you Euro Cucina cookware pan or pot for better results.  Your Euro Cucina Cookware will hold the right heat to do a perfect frying.

After you have fried your food we recommended you use another Euro Cucina cookware pot or pan with its cover on or another covered cooking device to let rest your fried food (Check Thermometer right cooking temperature and rest chart for more info.) This process will help your fried food to become tender and juicy.

Remember, when you are frying foods without natural fat it may be necessary to add a small amount of oil. Examples of such foods are eggs, fish, potatoes, liver, and all types of breaded, floured, or battered foods.
